Townsend Exchange is a public board for passing things on in Port Townsend. Using it means you agree to these terms.

Posting

Post only things you have the right to give away or sell. Say what the thing is, and don't pretend it is something else. Free or for sale, the handoff is between you and the person who takes it. Townsend Exchange does not take payment, hold the item, or guarantee it.

Don't post stolen goods, weapons, drugs, animals, or anything illegal. You can put a phone number in the description. If you choose email, one message is sent to you and your reply goes to the sender. The board doesn't keep that conversation. Whatever you write on the listing is public.

Your account

You sign in to post. Only you can mark your listing taken or take it down. Don't share your password.

Removal

A listing that breaks these terms can be taken down. The board is offered as it is. It may be changed or go offline.
